“I was inspired to become a doctor by my father who was a pharmacologist in France, producing medicines for Vietnam and Africa. His devotion to the needs of humanity continues to motivate me to help improve the health and wellbeing of others.

Patients come to me often in their vulnerable moments. Being approachable, non-judgemental, and understanding is the greatest qualities in a medical practitioner; it is an enduring honour to be able to provide support toward positive long-term outcomes for individuals and families alike.

I’m honoured to have the privilege of working with likeminded colleagues at Osler Health International.”

Born in France, Dr Valerie is a French speaking Australian family physician who obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2000. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007. She holds a Graduate Diploma of Family Practice Dermatology. In Singapore, she has served the international community, including French speakers for almost 9 years.

Dr Druon has a wide interest and extensive experience in many aspects of Family Medicine. She sees many children including health checks, children’s development, asthma, allergies, vaccinations, nutrition, sleep, sports, scoliosis and social interaction. Adult health checks involve mental health, breast checks and gynaecology checks, skin checks, prostate and cancer checks, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular screening and general lifestyle advise. Passionate about preventative medicine and how a holistic approach supports health outcomes, she is a member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine
